A Monument for World Peace originates in a Park of Peace in Austria: a stupa.
Who is the initiator? Tenzin Tharchin, supported by H.H.Dalai Lama, Pilgrim as well as many further institutions and personalities.

To what end do we need a Monument for World Peace? To set an example against discord and selfishness in our global reality of life, in order to bring human beings together, and in order to promote and continue discussions, which may lead to a harmonious coexistence beyond worldviews and ideological opinions.
The stupa symbolizes the awakened mind, pervaded by limitless wisdom and compassion towards all living beings. That’s why it’s a monument for world peace, happiness and mutual understanding.
A stupa creates a space of concentration. It is an imposing structure - drawing and radiating it unifies, brings about peace and provides a counterweight to suffering in this world. Stupa environments are spaces of special charisma acting to the benefit of a harmonious cooperation in a world out of balance.
We need every possible support in order to create this space. It takes financial support to make the erection of this worldwide unique stupa in the middle of a Park of Peace in Austria - laid out for this purpose only – possible: it’s dimensions are extraordinary, it’s architectural design is distinctive. Please help this Park of Peace, the Monument for World Peace, and a House for Meditation come true – a space of silence and reflection as well as a space for intercultural and spiritual encounter, where lectures, conferences and talks will take place.
